the good 'ol come forth - 2007
the good ‘ol come forth is a performance-based installation that is currently part of the permanent collection at the elsewhere artist collective in Greensboro, NC. The accompanying video serves to document the installation an the performative event which existed one evening in the sweltering summer of 2007. the good ‘ol come forth attempts to honour, as well as conjure the spirit of a local folk singer – Rebecca King Jones – who mysteriously disappeared from her cabin within a small settlement in Durham, North Carolina in 1951.
